Frequently Asked Questions
Get quick answers about our courses, live classes, and learning approach.
Do I need any language experience to start?
No language experience needed! Our classes are made for both beginners and intermediate learners to start a NEW kind of language experience.
What is the difference between level 1/Beginning and level 2 classes?
In the beginning, students are introduced to high-frequency language structures and work on a simple story to acquire language listening and production skills quickly. In level 2 classes, students use the language knowledge they already possess to expand stories and talk in different tenses from the start.
What time will courses be offered?
The goal of World Languages with Tony is to offer classes after school/later in the evening so that more students can sign up. This way, students seeking world language credits can do so without interfering with their school schedules. Classes are offered later in the evening for students who participate in sports or clubs right after school or plan to.
Can students of any age take your courses?
The courses are available to students of any age starting at age 6-7. We offer the following courses in either Spanish or French. Beginning Elementary, Advanced Elementary, High School level 1, and High School level 2.
What if I'm not sure which level is right for my student?
That is okay! We offer placement guidance and occasional host onboarding sessions to help you decide. We can also set a time to meet on Zoom to go over and decide the right placement for your student.
